Good morning Stewie

Stewie is a burrower.  He has to be wrapped up snug-as-a-bug in a blankie.  Since Tucker's arrival the main doggie bed in our kitchen had to be moved to make way for the puppy pen and this was not ideal for Stewie.  The bed in the kitchen was a big bed so that Annie and Stewie could both lay there together and keep and eye on me while I cooked and while we ate dinner.  The kitchen has a tile floor and Stewie does not like cold floors so most times now Stewie is back in his crate in our bedroom where he has all the comforts he loves but he is not with me :(  .

It won't be long because Tucker may get the run of the kitchen (he is being really good!) and I can bring back the big dog bed.  I keep a blankie on it just so Stewie can do his maneuver of winding himself up like a cinnamon roll.  Hopefully Tucker learns quickly to not step on him while he is wrapped up because that could be a problem with the way Tucker hops up and down sometimes.

Tucker still tries to sleep in what we have called Stewie's bed, and of course has added a hole from his chomping on it when he tosses it about.  Tucker is much too big for it and I don't know why he has a thing for that bed over his bed, except maybe because it is the puppy pen which he does get locked in when I leave the house.  I leave the pen open when I am at home and oddly Stewie likes that bed!  Poochies can be so weird about where they sleep.

Occasionally Tucker even tries out Stewie's crate which is way to small for him.  At least a quarter of his long body hangs out but he has to sniff it out.  If Stewie is in there Tucker beware because some growling goes on of telling him to "back off!".  I have even found Stewie inside Tucker's crate checking it out.  I think he likes the pad or maybe the view is different.

Does your pupparoo have a favorite way and place to sleep?  How many pupparoo beds do you have?  Let me count how many we have.....2 crates and 5 dog beds around the house.

I sleep curled up when I'm cold and stretched out like a frog when it's hot (most of the time in Fl sadly, it's pushing 80 degrees here!). I love to snuggle under blankets and twist around like a Doxie pretzel! We don't have dog beds, as I favor the couches and beds LOL

All my cavalier king charles spaniels sleep in crates at night which they cant wait to go in when they are tired, otherwise they all line up on the couch and sleep.

What a cute pic! We have one extra large crate in our bedroom that yuki and rocket share. It has to be in the bedroom so they can see us at night when sleeping. Yuki's favorite napping spot is her orange chair, it's ours but she's the only one that uses it. Rocket naps wherever I am, even if it means being on the floor.

Our Dr. Zira sleeps like that. All the rest of our dogs sleep in the bed but Z sleeps in her crate all burrowed up when its cold and just on top of the covers in the summer

That is adorable! Finn sleeps wherever she wants, even though we have a bed and a crate for her. In the summer she likes the cooler floor and in the winter she is up on the couch, or up on the bed!

Georgia used to love being rolled up in her blankie and would walk all over the house with it draped around her. Don't know how she managed to do it without tripping!

When Rufus was around, they always vied for each others' beds. Like dogs in the manger! Now that she's on her own, she has 2 beds, one upstairs and one downstairs (inherited from Rufus) 1/4 of which she ate when she was a pup :) you certainly have a lot of beds for 2 dogs, maybe the cats share them too?

Ohh, don't make me do math on Friday! I'll just say...lots!

Oreo has a queen size bed that he considers "his". Plus, numerous monogrammed dog beds. I just moved one into the kitchen, and both dogs fight over it.

How cute that Stewie likes to be all cuddled up.

Tucker's favorite place to sleep is under any cover, he isn't picky about where it is at as long as I am there with him. Lola is a vagabond, she will plop herself down and sleep anywhere. We have two dog beds left, Tucker has managed to chew the rest of them up. One stays in Tucker's crate, he loves his crate and often goes in it for naps. The other stays in the living room for daytime napping

We used to have 2 doggie beds and a crate, but since I don't use a crate anymore, we just have 2 doggie beds. But Nala doesn't use the doggie beds -- she sleeps on mommy and daddy's bed. :)

Woofs & hugs, <3

We sleep on two very large pillows in our laundry. Otherwise we have a pillow in the family room and just on the carpet wherever. If its hot we sleep on the cool lino in the kitchen. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Stewie looks like ET when he was all wrapped up sitting in the bike basket! We need more dog beds in our house! Mommy took apart Benji's crate -- he wasn't using it -- and Mommy needed to make the house more handicapped accessible for Grandma and her walker. So Mommy re-arranged the whole living room to make more room and that meant Benji's crate got taken down. Me and Benji get to sleep anywhere in the house. We love the living room sofas as our afternoon sleeping place. Technically we have my dog bed, and 2 smaller beds for Benji. We need to get new beds (especially a bigger one for Benji) whenever Mommy saves up enough money for them -- they are so expensive.

We have dog beds all over the house, but they prefer our bed!
